Sitting Around on a Sunday

Almost 7:00 pm and I’m finally able to sit around!  I splurged and bought myself a new laptop computer yesterday so part of the afternoon was spent setting it up and transferring files.  I’m not much of a techie, but thankfully everything I needed to do had user-friendly instructions so I was able to do it all by myself (yay me).

This morning at the gym I tried a Cardiopilates class, which uses a jump board at the end of the Reformer machine so you are “jumping” while laying down.  It sounds easy, doesn’t it?  Not so much.  Like traditional Pilates classes your core is supposed to be engaged the whole time; and since my muscles are shall we say not at their peak, it was a challenge.  But I made it through, and of course as I continue to go and get stronger it will only get easier.

Yesterday I volunteered at my library’s book sale which was quieter than it has been in the past.  I think the abnormally mild weather for this time of year (80 degrees!) and Saint Patrick’s Day had something to do with it.  I didn’t pick up much for myself this time around, but that’s okay; it’s not like I have nothing at home to read 🙂

And I really haven’t had much time to read this weekend, with one thing and another going on, so I’ll make this short.  I hope you all had a great Sunday wherever you are.

Sounds like you had a busy weekend. Pity the library sale wasn’t busier but it’s nice that you volunteered. The Cardiopilates… can’t picture it at all but it sounds like hard work.

Hope you have a good week!
