Working weekend

So lucky me had the marvelous fortune of bringing home a stack of work from the office to do over the weekend.   Yeah, it sucks just a little bit, but at least I have remote access to my office computer and I’m able to do it from home.  Aside from the hub coming in once in a while to say hello I have no distractions, and I can wear my comfy clothes; I may not be more productive, but I’m definitely in better spirits than being stuck in the office.

I can also reward myself by taking a break and work on my new Word Press blog.  Blogger always seemed to be enough for me, but now that I see all WordPress has to offer I can’t imagine why I didn’t make the switch sooner.  It’s all very cool.

Hopefully sometime during the weekend I can take some time to read as well.  I only have two books on the go right now:  Winter:  Five Windows on the Season by Adam Gopnik and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer.  Both are very enjoyable reads, but for me anyways they require focused attention and I can’t easily read a few pages here and there.
